Stevens Tip-Up Rifle Model # 9 with Forearm
28” half oct. barrel marked 22 short or long, re-bored to 25-20 with a good bore.
Strong rifling with black powder roughness.
Nickel plated receiver has some flaking, nice Swiss butt-stock is solid with some finish wear and minor bruising.
Butt plate has about 50% nickel with what appears to be file marks.
Forearm has a couple of repair splits on either side and finish wear.
Barrel blue is turning dark and has some dings and scars.
